MUARA, Sunday, 13 June 2021 – The Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) held a Khatam Al-Quran, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran ceremony in conjunction with the RBN's 56th Anniversary. The ceremony was held this afternoon at Surau Al-Huda, Muara Naval Base. First Admiral Spry Bin Haji Serudi @ Haji Seruji, Commander of RBN, the Guest of Honour, was present along with senior officers, officers and personnel of RBN.
The ceremony's objectives, were to have RBN personnel to inculcate the affection of the Al-Quran, practise reading it as part of their daily life and to promote cooperation among RBN personnel. Apart from that, the Tadarus also foster closer relations in the workplace.
The event commenced after performing the mass Asar prayer, followed by Takhtim Al-Quran, Tahlil, Doa Khatam, Dzikir Marhaban and the ceremony ended with 'Doa Peliharakan Sultan Dan Negara Brunei Darussalam' led by Imam Surau Al-Huda.
